The Anaheim Ducks and CHOC Children's will be hosting CHOC Night at Honda Center on Sunday, March 14, 2010, as the Anaheim Ducks take on the San Jose Sharks.
Throughout the evening CHOC patients will be taking part in the festivities as Zamboni riders. And you will have the opportunity to help support CHOC Children’s in several ways.
CHOC volunteers will be selling 1,500 stuffed Choco bears (the CHOC mascot), outfitted in an Anaheim Ducks replica jersey autographed by an Anaheim Ducks player, for $60 per bear. The bears are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and expected to sell-out fast. So come early and make sure not to miss your chance to get this season’s Choco bear signed by your favorite player. All proceeds from the annual CHOC Night bear sale will benefit the Orthopaedic Institute at CHOC Children’s.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to win prizes when you make a donation by texting CHOC to 90999– including a Choco bear signed by the entire Ducks roster. Details will be available at the game.
